For this purpose, we publish here some relevant extracts concerning the current statuary instrument about the costs of transportation and the conditions of transportation for the occasional traffic in the city of Trier.

Special performance claims on the part of the passenger as well as longer rides outside of the compulsory driving area or longer waiting periods are subject to a free agreement.
Arrivals are commanded vehicles in the order of the passenger.
Collection rides require always a collection. The collection is free of charge for rides within the city area.
Collection rides for outside the city are charged only when the ride does not lead back to the city area.
The way is charged upon the border of the nearby city area to the customer resp.
to his destination point. The arrival costs are all-in prices, but they may not exceed
the price per kilometre concerning tariff II in general. If the customer is refusing to use the taxi for
the collection ride, he has to pay the basic charge within the nearby city area and outside the city area
the basic charge and the costs of the arrival.
Is every ride, that transports the passenger outside of the city area to one or more destinations and which drives him back.
Is every ride within the nearby city area, as well as every ride leading outside the city area. Is every ride when the passenger does not drive back using the same taxi but leaves the taxi at the destination point.
The driver has to choose the way to the destination which is the most favourable, unless the driver has agreed to take another way with the passenger.
Is every standstill of the taxi during the use, unless the driver has to blamed for the standstill of the taxi or unless technical faults of the vehicle may occur. This exclusion rules also for accidents in which the taxi is being involved. The driver is not committed to wait more than 30 minutes.
The nearby city area is the area of the city of Trier, which is within the following borders:

The taxi driver can not demand another price than the one being showed on the indicator. This does not concern any compulsory arrivals, when the price had already been confirmed by the telephone exchange and will be charged supplementary.
The indicator has to show the costs of the transportation and the wage grade.
The indicator may not be turned in before the passenger got into the taxi.
The prices are firm prices, they may neither been exceed nor should they fall below, they are to be used regularly.
The passenger has the right to demand a receipt about the costs of transportation.
The driver has to carry a printing with him in the taxi and has to show it on demand of the passenger.
In case of technical faults concerning the indicator, the price is be calculated by the basic charge and the driven kilometres. The driver has to point out the default immediately. Furthermore, the driver is responsible for the immediate repair of the default.
